My first letter to The National that didn’t quite make the deadline

photo-12The front page of today’s The National was unveiled late last night and I had only just sent a letter to the editor. I haven’t had time to read today’s edition so I assume it hasn’t been published, but here is the short and sweet note that I sent to Richard Walker last night:

“Dear Richard,

I’m frankly not at all surprised that you and your world class team of journalists will be returning on a permanent basis from next Monday.

You have shown your peers that you can cater for the needs and high expectations of tens of thousands of people across this nation and opened up hope for the future of the Scottish media, especially in print.

Your success has been well and truly earned. Onwards and upwards.

Kind regards,
Anas Hassan”
